Thursday, October 7, When the CEO of the Microsoft Corporation made his presentation on the Microsoft days in Paris, he briefed about cloud computing with special emphasis on how the technology is going to revolutionize the entire operations of a few companies and businesses. But are these cloud techniques the all-new phenomenon hitting today’s businesses? The answer is a definite no, as this technology has been in use for a decade now.
We must not forget that businesses operate and run on various applications, each with the potential to meet a separate set of technical specifications, data security, using the available resources and based on the performance of its manpower. All these have to be taken into account when considering the services based on the Cloud. Therefore, no manager can expect an immediate transition or makeover or a universal approach to adopt the cloud computing techniques within a short span of time.
Many firms will stick on and would like to run their operations based on their traditional infrastructure and will accept the hybrid approach in cloud computing based on these traditional features only. They will adapt these dedicated virtual servers and cloud application platforms only if they are available in an environment that best satisfies their individual security protocols.
As many companies would want to adopt the hybrid cloud, the environment is feasible only at a very gradual phase and for large companies to adopt the hybrid cloud computing architecture, it may take several years. Thanks to the existence of Infrastructure sews parallel field which makes it feasible for companies to take on this gradual transition by having the existing data-parallel and in tune with the new hybrid model.
Another advantage of this approach is that, any company that is reluctant to go to the Sews will be reassured, determine which type of cloud computing protocols would go best for the global needs of its diverse activities and applications, and get its operational applications in tune with the determinants of the hybrid cloud computing model.
Some companies have all of their specific features including the infrastructure to perfectly dance in tune with this mission, with very little implication on the cost of installing it. However, when increasing the workload or responding to strong growth, the adoption of cloud as a hybrid solution along with their present physical assets will allow these companies to make incursions into the cloud to leverage their profitability while continuing to use their present infrastructure.
One point of concern for the security of the industry is that majority of the access points in the cloud web services is that all information is open all over the internet. But fortunately, this problem can be easily addressed by making sure that the individual organizations make their main access to the cloud by borrowing only the wireless network and not the web. Enough to alleviate their concerns companies and large groups that prefer the application of a cloud environment are not directly interfaced with the Internet
Therefore it is wise for new businesses to adopt the hybrid cloud computing techniques by making use of their existing infrastructure with necessary modifications made based on the cloud computing measures. This transition has doubled benefits if done in a controlled environment to avoid unnecessary replication and risky, expensive after effects.
